Privacy Policy

Introduction

Tic Tac Toe ("the App") is a multiplayer game published by Astrolab. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App. The App is available on the Solana Mobile dApp Store (with blockchain features) and Google Play Store (without blockchain features).

Wallet Connection (dApp Store Version Only)

The dApp Store version uses Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA) to connect to your wallet. We never access or store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. All transactions require explicit approval in your connected wallet.

Game Wallet ("Burner Wallet")

For seamless on-chain gameplay, the App can generate a local "Game Wallet":

• The private key is stored only on your device using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES-256 encryption)
• You fund this wallet from your main wallet to play games without repeated popups
• You can withdraw funds back to your main wallet at any time
• You can export the private key or reset the wallet
• Astrolab does not have access to your Game Wallet keys

Information We Collect

Display Name & Game Stats

When you play online or on-chain games, we store:

• Display Name — A nickname you choose for leaderboards
• Wallet Address — Your public Solana address (dApp Store version)
• Game Statistics — Wins, losses, and SOL earned for leaderboard rankings

This data is stored in Firebase Realtime Database and is necessary for multiplayer functionality.

Anonymous Authentication

Firebase Anonymous Authentication is used to identify users for online play. No email, phone number, or personal account is required.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics — Measures anonymized usage (active users, sessions, performance)
• Firebase Realtime Database — Stores game rooms, matchmaking queues, and leaderboards
• Firebase Remote Config — Feature flags and app configuration
• OneSignal — Push notifications (if you grant permission)
• Google AdMob — Displays advertisements (Play Store version and non-NFT holders)
• Helius API — Solana RPC and WebSocket for blockchain interactions (dApp Store version)

Advertising

The App may display ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage ad personalization in your device settings.

Users who own the "Ad-Free NFT" do not see advertisements.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Private keys or seed phrases
• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Location data
• Contact lists or personal files

On-Chain Data

When you play "Play for SOL" games, your moves and wagers are recorded on the Solana blockchain. Blockchain data is public and permanent by nature. The App does not control blockchain data once submitted.

Camera Permission

The App requests camera access only to scan QR codes for joining games. Camera data is processed locally and is not stored or transmitted.

Data Retention

Game statistics and display names are retained while the App is active. You may request deletion of your profile data by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 18. The on-chain gaming features involve real cryptocurrency wagers.

Legal Use

You may use the App only if you are legally allowed to use cryptocurrency in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Security

The App uses encryption for sensitive local storage and relies on the security of Solana blockchain and your connected wallet. However, blockchain transactions are irreversible and depend on network conditions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated accordingly.
