Introduction

Astro Burner ("the App") is a Solana ATA rent reclaimer tool published by Astrolab. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Self-custody & Wallet Connection

The App uses Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA) to connect to your wallet. We never access or store private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. All transactions require explicit approval in your wallet.

What the App Does

The App uses the Helius API to display Associated Token Accounts (ATAs) that are eligible to be closed. You can select accounts to close and reclaim rent directly back to your wallet.

No Smart Contracts

Astro Burner does not deploy or use any custom smart contracts. It executes standard Solana instructions directly via your connected wallet.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or sell personal data such as your name, email, phone number, wallet seed phrase, or private keys. We do not require account registration.

Analytics & Notifications

We use limited third-party services to monitor basic app usage and send notifications:

Firebase Analytics — used to measure anonymized usage (for example: active users, sessions, performance).
OneSignal — used for app notifications (if enabled on your device).

Note: These providers may collect device-level identifiers and telemetry depending on your device settings and their SDK behavior. Their handling is governed by their own policies.

Fees

The App charges a 10% operational fee from the rent reclaimed when closing eligible token accounts. The remaining amount is returned to your wallet.

Legal Use

You may use Astro Burner only if you are legally allowed to use cryptocurrency in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Security

Because the App is self-custody and does not store sensitive wallet credentials, risk is reduced. However, blockchain transactions are irreversible and depend on Solana network conditions and wallet behavior.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated accordingly.
